This is Luke's JJ Industries cotton fabric , which is inspired by Kylo's surcoat and cowl from TFA. This is the best available and sold by the yard. It takes a little over 4 yards to complete a large Kylo surcoat and cowl with a double thickness hood and good sized cape/shawl. You might be able to get away with 4 yards if you cut it efficiently, but I would probably recommend 5. The width is 51 inches or 130 cm. You can also order the fabric uncoated and do it yourself.
