This video shows the v2 helmet (discontinued) not v2.5.

I was so excited for a new Star Wars film that I made a v1 helmet inspired by it before TFA was released, mostly based on the concept art and a few photos near the end of the build. I believe it was one of the first fan-made helmets. I was also one of the first people to make full TFA-inspired costumes and finally learned leather working so I could make proper belts. I thought it would be easy to make this costume once the helmet was completed because it was mostly fabric, but there were many challenges and lessons to be learned that will likely help me with future projects.

I plan to offer DIY kits possibly this year and to auction off the few fully completed sets made while making the video tutorials. Follow me on social media for updates.
